Gamification
Students earn points for activity (completing lessons, posting, etc.), which map to levels and a leaderboard visible in the community. This is a Pro-plan feature — on other plans the community feed and discussion still work, just without points/levels/leaderboard.
Certificates
When a student completes a course, a certificate is generated automatically with a public verification page (/verify/[id]) anyone can check — the page never exposes the student's email, only that the certificate is genuine. Students can download a PDF from their own portal.
Who gets a certificate
Only students enrolled in the course get a certificate. On a course where every lesson is a preview, someone who never enrolled earns no certificate or completion points, even after finishing every lesson. A refund voids the certificate; when access simply expires, a certificate already earned is kept.
