Answer 6 questions and the assistant drafts your homepage, first course, instructor page and FAQ.
On this page
When you're just starting out and don't know where to begin, ask the assistant to set up the first drafts. It writes drafts only: each one is saved only when you press its button, and even then it isn't public. You read it, edit it, and decide when it goes live.
Where to start
- On the dashboard home, next to the Getting started checklist, press "Set up my school with the assistant".
- Or open the Teachvix assistant at the bottom right and press "Start" under the greeting.
Only the school owner sees it, and only while the school has no published course yet.
The 6 questions
1. What do you teach?
2. Who is it for?
3. Pick the homepage style that feels most like you (the same 4 styles as Homepage templates).
4. What will your first lesson cover?
5. How do you plan to price the course: an amount, free, or decide later.
6. What should students call you, plus a few sentences about yourself.
The four drafts
| Draft | What happens when you press its button |
|---|---|
| Homepage | Saved as the homepage draft. If you already have one, it is replaced and the old version stays in version history. To go live, press "Set as homepage" in the page editor. |
| First course | Creates a draft course: title, description, up to 3 modules with up to 5 lessons each, priced with what you entered in question 5. |
| About page | Creates a draft page with your own introduction from question 6, word for word — the AI doesn't rewrite it. |
| FAQ | Adds up to 5 questions as "unpublished". Read them on the FAQ page, then turn on the ones you want. |
Each card has "Preview" (homepage) or "Open to edit" so you can change it into your own words.
What the assistant won't do
- It never publishes anything.
- It won't make up years of experience, student numbers, results or testimonials, and won't write promises such as refunds, guarantees or certificates — those are yours to write. Content a homepage template marks as an example (stats, testimonials, price tables…) is left alone, so remember to replace it.
- Your price, name and introduction are not used to generate text; they are only saved into your drafts.
Runs and limits
- Each school can write drafts up to 3 times. A run only counts when it succeeds.
- So that failed tries cannot be sent over and over, each school can try at most 10 times a day (a failed try counts as a try), and after 3 tries in a row it has to wait 15 minutes. A try that is turned away does not use up one of your 3. If the platform has used a lot of AI that day, One-click setup also pauses; try again later.
- It doesn't use a separate plan allowance, but creating a custom page still follows your plan's page limit (Basic: 1 page). If you're at the limit, only the instructor page card shows a notice; the other three are unaffected.
- Your answers and the results are stored with your school and deleted with it.
- Closing the panel doesn't stop a run; the drafts wait in the panel. After refreshing the page, open the assistant and press "See the last drafts" to come back.
