Teachvix assistant
Ask how to set anything up from the bottom-right corner of your dashboard — answers come from the Help Center, with a button to the right page.
On this page
Every page of your dashboard has the Teachvix assistant in the bottom-right corner. Ask it in your own words how to set something up — for example "How do I start accepting payments?" or "How do I connect my own domain?".
How it answers
- Answers are based on Help Center articles, which are listed under the answer so you can read the full guide.
- When your question matches a page in the dashboard, a "Go to …" button appears under the answer and takes you straight there.
- It suggests questions for the page you're on — on the orders page, for example, it suggests questions about refunds.
- If the Help Center doesn't cover something, the assistant says so instead of guessing, and it never promises features that don't exist yet.
Permissions
The assistant only gives you buttons for pages you're allowed to open. If you're an instructor and ask about something only the school owner can set up (payments or your plan, for example), it tells you to ask the owner.
When it finds nothing to go on
The assistant answers only from the Help Center and the plan prices, and every sentence about a feature, menu or step has to have a source. When it finds none, it says it couldn't find a sure answer in the Help Center and suggests searching it or contacting Teachvix support. It does not invent menu names or steps.
Usage and privacy
- Available on every plan, and it doesn't use your monthly AI generation quota.
- To keep usage fair, each teacher can ask up to 6 questions a minute and 20 an hour. How many a school can ask per day depends on its plan: Basic 20, Growth 60, Pro 120. If you reach a limit, try again later or tomorrow — Help Center search is always available.
- A plain greeting or thank-you, and a short "where is …?" question that only needs to point you to a page, are answered directly (with a button to the page) without the AI and without counting toward the daily total.
- If the whole platform has used a lot of AI that day, the assistant rests for a while and asks you to try later or check the Help Center; greetings and page buttons still work.
- Under each answer that stands on something you can press "Yes" or "No"; the rating is stored with that answer (see the next point) and nobody is notified.
- The conversation on screen is cleared when you refresh the page or choose "Start over". But your questions and the assistant's answers (with which account and school asked) are kept for 90 days, so Teachvix platform administrators can see which answers helped and improve them, and are then deleted automatically. Please don't type students' personal data, passwords or card numbers into your questions; to ask for deletion, use the ways listed in the privacy policy. Answers are generated by Google's AI model and can be wrong — check the linked article.
What it can't do
Day to day, the assistant answers questions about setting up and using Teachvix. It doesn't change your website or settings for you, and it doesn't write course content. To draft a course outline, course description or page copy, use the AI buttons in the course editor and the page builder.
The one exception is One-click setup for a new school: while the school has no published course, the owner can ask the assistant to draft the homepage, first course, instructor page and FAQ from 6 questions. Each draft is saved only when you press its button, and none of it is public. See One-click setup.
